Annual meeting for the Italian American Club – October 30 at 4 PM in the Fireside room at Gateway.

The Italian American Club of Rossmoor will hold its Annual Board and Membership Meeting on Monday, October 30, 2023, in the Fireside Room at 4 PM.  All Members are welcome. Those who wish to become members may attend and fill out an application form for membership.

This is the time of the year to hear individually from the Board members and Committee Chairs who will speak about their responsibilities.  We have two new Officers on the Board in 2023. Kathy Johnson became the Secretary and Angela Buongiorno is now the Treasurer. John Palladino joined Tony Ghazal as co-chair of the Bar at events. Rita Currivan filled an empty spot as Hospitality Chair. Joanne Parentis is the Head of the snack committee for Dinner Dances.

Next year there will be even more changes to the Board which were announced at the October Dinner Dance, and they will begin their duties on January 1, 2024.

After hearing from our Board and Committee Members we will conduct the Board Meeting for November which entails plans for the Evening of Italian Music night which takes place on November 10th in the Event Center.  We have had a very successful and fun-filled year. We hope you have attended most of these events. We would love to hear from you about your own ideas for events.

 

Following the Board Meeting Adjournment, we will have refreshments and conversation.  The old and new Board Members and Chairs are looking forward to meeting you.
