Golf and BBQ – Dollar Picnic Grounds

Italian American Club holds Golf Tournament and Barbeque on September 13.
The Italian American Club of Rossmoor, in collaboration with The Rotary Club of Rossmoor, is excited to announce its annual Golf Tournament and Barbeque Picnic event on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Participants have the flexibility to attend the golf tournament, the BBQ picnic, or both. All Rossmoor residents and their guests, golfers, or non-golfers are invited to this event.
The day will feature a golf tournament at the Creekside Golf Course. The tournament will follow a scramble-twilight format with a shotgun start at 2:30 PM. Starting on August 13, golfers can sign up as foursomes, threesomes, twosomes, or singles at the Golf Shop. The deadline is September 6. As a special feature, tournament prizes will be provided by The Rotary Club of Rossmoor. Prizes will be in the form of a credit at the golf shop.
Following the tournament, a BBQ picnic will be held at the Stanley Dollar Picnic Grounds, scheduled to begin at 5 PM. The picnic will be catered by Back Forty Texas BBQ and will feature beef brisket, BBQ chicken, BBQ beans, Granny Smith coleslaw and potato salad. Beverages including wine, beer, soda and water will be provided. Attendees may bring their own beverages.
The cost for the BBQ picnic is $40 per person. Send checks payable to the Italian American Club, to The Italian American Club, 1001 Golden Rain Road, Walnut Creek, CA 94595. Checks may also be dropped off at the Club mailbox at Gateway.
Be sure to include the full name, phone number, address and email address for each person attending. The deadline for BBQ picnic reservations is Thursday, August 29, 2024.
No refunds will be offered. Those unable to attend, but who have paid, can arrange to pick up their meal that night. Please contact Connie Palladino at 408-314-7447 by noon the day of the event.
