San Valentino e Carnevale Dinner Dance – Event Center

The Italian American Club celebrates San Valentino and Carnevale with a Dinner Dance on Friday, February 9.

 

The Italian American Club will celebrate San Valentino and Carnevale with a dinner dance on Friday, February 9 at the Event Center.  The hosted bar will be open from 5:15 to 6 p.m. with dinner to follow.

Dinner, catered by Il Pavone, will start with antipasto, a selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives etc. followed by Caesar salad.  The main course will be farfalle pasta with Bolognese sauce, chicken piccata with a sauté of carrots and zucchini.  The vegetarian entrée will be eggplant parmigiana with vegetarian pasta.  Dessert will be apple cranberry torte with cream.  Red and white wine, as well as decaffeinated coffee and tea will be included.

The Nob Hill Sounds Quartet will provide music for listening and dancing with piano playing during cocktails.  Attire for the evening will be coat and tie for men, and dressy for women.  Guests are reminded to bring cash for the 50/50 raffle drawing.

Dinner is $60 for members and $70 for guests.  Send checks, payable to the Italian American Club, to The Italian American Club, 1001 Golden Rain Road, Walnut Creek, CA, 94595.  Clearly indicate the names that you would like to see on the name tags and add emails of members and guests.

Checks may also be dropped off at the Club mailbox at Gateway.  For the vegetarian option, write “vegetarian” on the reservation check.  Those who wish to sit together should send names and checks in one envelope.  No reservations will be accepted after the deadline of Thursday, February 1.

Those unable to attend, but who have paid, can arrange to pick up their dinner after 8 p.m. by calling Connie Palladino at 1-408-314-7447 by noon on the day of the event.  The packaged and labeled dinners will be available in the lobby.
