Italian American Club Presents: “That’s Amore” Dinner Dance Extravaganza!

The Italian American Club invites you to a fabulous evening of fine dining, lively music, and dancing at our annual “That’s Amore” dinner dance on Friday, June 13 at the Event Center. Come kick off your summer in style with this elegant evening of Italian hospitality! The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a hosted bar, followed by a sumptuous dinner catered by Il Pavone.

Your menu for the evening begins with a mixed green salad with sweet pears, cranberries, candied walnuts, and a drizzle of balsamic dressing, followed by pasta “alla marinara.” The main course showcases sliced pork loin with a rich mushroom reduction, accompanied by broccolini and potatoes. Vegetarian guests will delight in stuffed Portobello mushrooms with béchamel sauce. To finish, indulge in a selected Italian dessert. Red and white wine will be at each table.

Entertainment and dancing feature the Hipster Cocktail Party trio performing live music for an unforgettable evening of dancing and socializing. From seasoned dancers to those who simply enjoy moving to the music, this event offers the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow club members and dance enthusiasts in our friendly community.

Important information to note: Attire is coat and tie for men, dressy for women. Cost is $60 for members, $70 for guests. Don’t forget to bring cash for the exciting 50/50  drawing!

Reservation Process: Send checks, payable to the Italian American Club, to: The Italian American Club, 1001 Golden Rain Road, Walnut Creek, CA 94595. Checks may also be dropped at the club’s mailbox at Gateway. For the vegetarian option, please write “vegetarian” on your reservation check.

Please clearly indicate the names (for name tags) and the email addresses for all members and guests. For groups wishing to sit together, send names and checks in one envelope. Reservation deadline: Thursday, May 29. Don’t miss out, reserve your spot today!

If you’re unable to attend after paying, you can arrange to pick up your dinner by calling Connie Palladino at 1-408-314-7447 by noon on the day of the event. Packaged and labeled dinners will be available in the Donner Room after 8p.m.
