That's Amore Dinner Dance – Event Center

The Italian American Club will have a Dinner Dance on Friday, June 14, with the theme of “That’s Amore”.

The Italian American Club will celebrate “That’s Amore” with a dinner dance on Friday, June 14 at the Event Center.  The hosted bar will be open from 5:15 to 6 p.m. with dinner to follow.

Dinner, catered by Il Pavone, will start with antipasto, a selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives etc. bread and butter.  The main course will be pork loin with mushroom reduction, spring risotto with zucchini (summer squash).  The vegetarian entrée will be stuffed Portobello mushroom with a béchamel sauce.  Dessert will be lemon cake.  Red and white wine, as well as decaffeinated coffee and tea will be included.

The Vintage Jukebox quartet will provide music for listening and dancing.  Attire for the evening will be coat and tie for men, and dressy for women.  Guests are reminded to bring cash for the 50/50 raffle drawing.

Dinner is $60 for members and $70 for guests.  Send checks, payable to the Italian American Club, to The Italian American Club, 1001 Golden Rain Road, Walnut Creek, CA, 94595.  Clearly indicate the names that you would like to see on the name tags and add emails of members and guests.

Checks may also be dropped off at the Club mailbox at Gateway.  For the vegetarian option, write “vegetarian” on the reservation check.  Those who wish to sit together should send names and checks in one envelope.  No reservations will be accepted after the deadline of Thursday, June 6.

Those unable to attend, but who have paid, can arrange to pick up their dinner after 8 p.m. by calling Connie Palladino at 1-408-314-7447 by noon on the day of the event.  The packaged and labeled dinners will be available in the lobby.
